BROWNIE – We are using a homemade brownie recipe here, however, if you’d prefer to use a boxed brownie mix that’s fine as well.

CHEESECAKE – Cream cheese, egg, vanilla extract, and granulated sugar make up the cheesecake layer that’s then topped with crushed Oreo cookies. For a smooth cheesecake layer, allow your cream cheese and egg to come to room temperature before mixing.

OREOS – Use regular sized Oreos in whichever flavor you’d like, we use the classic ones. Making them for a holiday? Switch up the color of your Oreos, like orange for Halloween or the red cream filled ones for Christmas. You can also use the golden Oreo cookies in place of the chocolate.

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Line a 9-inch square pan with aluminum foil or parchment paper. Set aside.
  2. In a large microwave-safe bowl, melt the chocolate and butter until smooth. Heat in 20-30 second intervals, stirring after each one. Let cool slightly.melted chocolate in a bowl with a rubber spatula
