Frequently Asked Questions & Expert Tips

How do I store strawberry cake mix cookies?

You can store your cake mix cookies in an air-tight container kept at room temperature for 3-4 days.

Can I freeze the cookie dough?

Yes, to freeze your cookie dough, roll them into balls and place on a parchment paper lined baking sheet. Flash freeze until the cookie dough balls are cool to the touch and no longer sticky. Place them in a large Ziploc bag and store in the freezer for 1-2 months. Flash freezing the cookie balls will help them not stick together. To bake, remove from freezer and allow to thaw for 10 minutes, follow the same baking instructions listed in the recipe card below.

Serving Suggestions

These bright pink strawberry cake mix cookies would be perfect for a Valentine’s Day treat. Easily decorate them with sprinkles to match your themed party or holiday, or optionally dip one side of the cookie in white chocolate! We love icing the top with the strawberry lemon glaze and a sprinkle of powdered sugar, but you can skip the glaze and dust them with just powdered sugar if you’d like.
