Frequently Asked Questions & Expert Tips
Can I add chocolate chips too?Absolutely! Adding chocolate chips to this recipe is easy and makes for an even more delicious cookie. I would recommend half chocolate chips and half Reese’s pieces – so that would be 3/4 cup chocolate chips and 3/4 cup Reese’s pieces.
How long do these cookies keep? These cookies will keep for 3-4 days when stored in an air-tight container kept at room temperature.
Can I freeze the dough?Yes, this dough freezes well. Prepare and roll the dough balls on a baking sheet, then place the baking sheet in the freezer to flash freeze. After about an hour or two, once dough balls are frozen, remove them from the baking sheet and place them in a large ziptop bag and store them in the freezer for 3 months. When ready to bake, simply remove the dough balls from the freezer and allow them to sit at room temperature while the oven is preheating. Bake according to instructions.
